This was an international politics conference, hosted inside the Prague Castle and keynoted by the Czech and Finnish Presidents. The conference focused on EU industry and defence.

As part of my internship as a PR and events intern at the Institute of International Relations Prague, I helped the events team research venues and budget for the event.

During the conference, I was chosen to support the communications team, doing live notetaking, which formed the basis of official press releases, creating social media content, and liaising with the Presidents’ teams to organise the accredited Czech media personnel.

Ms Věra Jourová, former European Commission VP, delivered the keynote on “Digital Sovereignty for the EU”. Researchers from the ENSURED Project also explored the EU's economic policies within the new world order.

As part of my internship at the Institute of International Relations Prague, I conducted live communications during the conference, taking notes that would be used as the basis for Tweets, press releases, website updates. After the event, I indepedently created social media content promoting the event.

I also handled the event logistics, acting as a representative for the Institute well meeting with ambassadors and politicians.

I was a paid producer, conducting pre-interviews with the featured guests, including former sex discrimination commissioner, Kate Jenkins.

I also put together the media brief for the host, ABC radio presenter, Lisa Leong to follow.

I organised a live band and a social media and email campaign to promote the event to students and alumni.

I also spearheaded the social media events promotion campaign to the students and events set up.

Independently garnered funding, catering and photography for the Ormond Papers Book Launch.

Organised and hosted the launch to 100+ attendees as Editor-in-Chief of the publication.

Conducted events set up and promotion. Sourced judges to the 2022 Scripsi Writing Competition. Organised live readings of student works. Created a gallery set up to display student artwork in the publication.
